Funds Availability

Quick Access to Your Funds

We're committed to making sure your funds are available as quickly as possible. Here's what you need to know:

  • Cash and check deposits: We aim to make these funds available on the same business day that we receive your deposit.
  • Electronic direct deposits: These will be available on the day we receive the deposit.
  • Business days: Every day is a business day, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays. If you make a deposit after business hours or on a non-business day, we'll treat it as if it was made on the next business day.

Exceptions to Our Policy

While we always aim to provide quick access to your funds, there are some exceptions where we may not make all the funds from your check deposits available on the same business day:

  • The first $250.00 of your deposit will be available on the first business day after the day of your deposit.
  • Longer delays may apply under certain circumstances (see below).

Longer Delays May Apply

In certain situations*, we may delay your ability to withdraw funds deposited by check into your account for additional days:

  • If we believe the check you deposited will not be paid.
  • If you deposit checks totaling more than $5,525.00 in one day.
  • If you redeposit a check that has been returned unpaid.
  • If you have overdrawn your account repeatedly in the last six months.
  • In case of an emergency, such as failure of communications or computer equipment.

*Please note that during the first 30 days your account is open, these rules will also apply if you're a new member.
