Phone Scam Alert

An example of a fraudulent text message impersonating Beehive.

Beehive Federal Credit Union members are being targeted for a phone scam. Fraudsters call from a number that looks like it is Beehive’s main number. They say the member’s card has been used in a different state.

This ALARM is part of the scam! It creates a false sense of trust, and fraudsters go all-in asking you to verify card numbers, login information, emails, etc.

Is the phone call a scam?
Beehive does not use links to verify your identity.

We will never ask for:

• Online banking log-in information
• Complete card numbers
• Social Security numbers
• Birthdates
• Do not trust caller ID! It is common practice for criminals to make it look like they are calling from a certain number.
