At Beehive Federal Credit Union, we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back to those in need. This commitment inspired us to make a $7,000 donation to the Idaho Falls Area Humanitarian Center, an organization that shares our dedication to supporting and uplifting our local communities.
The Idaho Falls Area Humanitarian Center has been a beacon of hope and service in our community for over a decade. Their mission—to prolong life, reduce suffering, and foster self-reliance—resonates deeply with Beehive's values. The Center, run entirely by volunteers, produces and distributes thousands of essential items each year, including handmade toys, quilts, and hygiene kits. Their work impacts countless lives by partnering with over 100 local agencies to reach those most in need.
Every month, the Center distributes approximately 150 hygiene kits to those who may otherwise go without basic necessities. These kits, along with other essential items, are a lifeline for many, reflecting the Center’s unwavering commitment to helping "the one"—a principle that emphasizes caring for individuals without seeking recognition. This philosophy aligns perfectly with Beehive’s mission to make a positive difference in the lives of our members and the broader community.
Our partnership with the Humanitarian Center goes beyond this financial contribution. Beginning this month, Beehive Federal Credit Union has organized teams of employees to volunteer regularly at the Center. By contributing our time and energy, we aim to further support the Center’s efforts and reinforce our commitment to the community.
We encourage our members and the community to learn more about the Idaho Falls Area Humanitarian Center and find ways to get involved. Whether through volunteering or donating, your support can help sustain the vital work being done. Visit their website to discover how you can make a difference.
Together, we can help build a stronger, more compassionate community and make a lasting impact on those who need it most.
